Mark 3:11-12 (NKJV) And the unclean spirits, whenever they saw Him, fell down before Him and cried out, saying, "You are the Son of God."
But He sternly warned them that they should not make Him known.
In prayer meetings there is an activity called "testimonies".
People sometimes knowingly or unknowingly make this opportunity to glorify themselves instead of glorifying God. They will tell about their past, their past achievements, what all they left behind when they accepted Jesus etc. just to make others believe that they were not ordinary people. Satan in his craftiness, will collect all this information about them, take an account of all carnal weaknesses which hold them still. He will make timely use of it to make them fall into temptation.
In the above verse we see how carefully Jesus avoided acknowledgement from satan.
In the early days of His Ministry, such recognition would have sounded good for anyone, but Jesus knew that this confession of His identity by the devil would invite more danger than good. . Satan fell down before Him . Even it was done in the most humble way.
In the earlier days of ministry, even I too have gone wrong in this. When I did not know anything about exorcism, one lady manifested and fell before me while we were conducting the prayer. Though I was scared for a few seconds, in the bottom of my heart, I was slightly happy in devil acknowledging us (we were two) as God's servants.
How carefully Jesus avoided such foolish recognitions.
Only with the help of Holy Spirit we can discern what is from God and what is from devil. Even when good things come from devil, we should not accept. He will never do good to man. Only evil. May the Holy Spirit guide us!
Here are some practical tips to avoid self-glorification
1. Focus on Jesus : When sharing testimonies, redirect the spotlight to God's work (e.g., "Look what God did" vs. "Look what I did")
2. Check motives: Ask yourself, "Why am I sharing this?" Is it to honor God or to impress others?
3. Share struggles, not just triumphs: Highlight God's strength in weaknesses (2 Cor 12:9)
4. Use "we" instead of "I": Emphasize community and God's work through you
5. Pray for humility: Ask God to reveal pride and keep you grounded (James 4:6)
5. Stay grounded in scripture: Meditate on humility-focused verses like Phil 2:3-4, Matt 23:12
Some questions to reflect on:
What's one area you tend to seek recognition in (ministry, relationships, etc.)?
How can you shift the focus to God's glory in your next testimony or sharing?

Mark 16:15-16 (NKJV) And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
Gospel has to be preached by every Christian. Paul said, If anyone does not preach Gospel, woe to him.
When Gospel is preached, people will come to know about Jesus and get saved.
He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
One who does not believe the Gospel will be condemned. Condemnation is a legal word meaning sentence to punishment..
The opposite is acquittal meaning declaring innocent.
On the last judgment day, every human being who came to this earth with a granted permission to 'life' on this earth, will have to stand before the Creator of Heaven and earth to face a trial and receive the judgment. It will be a judgment for how they lived on this earth. The basic principle of this trial will be whether they accepted their Saviour Jesus Christ or not when He was introduced to them and after accepting if they proclaimed this Gospel ( Jesus) to others .
Today in many countries, persecution is going on. People are persecuted for their faith in Jesus Christ.
On 01.01.2026 I received New Year Greetings from a professor of a University in North India, who was arrested and put in jail for one year for preaching about Jesus Christ . He had attached a video also in which he preached about the sufferings one will have to undergo in the name of Jesus Christ. It was prophetically uttered by him one month earlier of his arrest.
Mark 16:15,16 compelled him to preach the Gospel even at the risk of going to jail. He will receive a special reward from the Eternal King on the last judgment Day.
Every Christian today have to make this decision.
Should I preach the Gospel which will pave way for thousands to get saved or should I allow thousands to go to hell?
Preaching Gospel can be in words or in action. Missionaries who came to India in the earlier centuries adopted both the methods. Today preaching of the Word faces challenges. Hence Christians have to adopt other methods. i.e. Showing Jesus Christ's love to others through their activities.
Let us make a decision today how we are going to preach the Gospel to my neighbours. My days on earth should not go in vain without giving gospel to at least ....people a day. Let this be our New Year decision.

Different kinds of evil spirits & their works
Isaiah 37:7 (NKJV) Surely I will send a spirit upon him, and he shall hear a rumor and return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land."
There are different kinds of spirits that work on this earth, both good and evil. All are under the control of the Lord Almighty.
I believe all the destructive operations brought on this earth by evil spirits are reported in heaven and asked sanction for.
We read in the book of Job that there is a day of presentation in heaven when all the sons of God have to present themselves. Satan also appears there.
Job 1:6 (NKJV) Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them.
During the time of king Ahab, the Lord sends a spirit of lie, in order to fulfil the prophecy uttered by Prophet Elijah.
1 Kings 22:22 (NKJV) The Lord said to him, 'In what way?' So he said, 'I will go out and be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.' And the Lord said, 'You shall persuade him, and also prevail. Go out and do so.'
Saul after backsliding, was taken over by a distressing spirit sent by the Lord.
1 Samuel 16:14 (NKJV) But the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and a distressing spirit from the Lord troubled him.
In the book of Isaiah, we see the Lord sending the spirit of fear of rumour. The Lord caused him to hear a rumour and return to his land. The king of Assyria, Sennacherib, reproached and blasphemed the Lord God. He threatened the people of God. When Hezekiah, the king of Judah heard it he sent messengers to prophet Isaiah. The Lord showed the prophet how the Lord is going to deal with him.
Isaiah 37:7 (NKJV) Surely I will send a spirit upon him, and he shall hear a rumor and return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land."
Three spirits worked here simultaneously.
Spirit of creating rumours
Spirit of believing rumours
spirit of fearing rumours
Prayer: Lord heavenly Father, we bless our land in the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus we cast out all the spirit of rumours which are roaming in our land. We bind all the spirits of rumours that are ruling our social media . Let it never spread rumours and brainwash the minds of people. Let the knowledge of truth spread in the land. Let the minds and hearts of people be liberated to think freely, search freely and to find salvation. Amen.

Genesis 20:13 (NKJV) And it came to pass, when God caused me to wander from my father's house, that I said to her, 'This is your kindness that you should do for me: in every place, wherever we go, say of me, "He is my brother."
Abraham said these words to King Abimelech. Three things to be noted here.
1. God caused me to wander from my father's house
2. He came to an agreement with his wife.
3. Wherever we go, say of me, "He is my brother."
When the Lord called him out of his father's house, he responded positively and left it behind.
Genesis 12:1
"The LORD had said to Abram, 'Go from your country, your people and your father's household to the land I will show you.'"
Abraham confessed to Abimelech the fact that he was a wanderer from the time God called him. He was not ashamed of accepting that.
Acts 7:4-5 (NKJV) Then he came out of the land of the Chaldeans and dwelt in Haran. And from there, when his father was dead, He moved him to this land in which you now dwell.
And God gave him no inheritance in it, not even enough to set his foot on. But even when Abraham had no child, He promised to give it to him for a possession, and to his descendants after him.
We are witnessed to the fact that the Lord has fulfilled his promise in our generation.
The Jews, Christians, Muslims & Arabians call themselves descendants of Abraham.
Another thing is to be noted here.
Many of us may be in our wandering period.
Abraham acknowledged that he had his wandering period. He wandered throughout the land. While wandering as a sojourner one will have to face many unfavorable situations.
Though God called Abraham His friend, he was not given any supernatural protection by God.
He had to face many difficulties and. struggles as any other man..
1. He struggled to provide physical protection for his wife's life and dignity .
2. His servants quarrelled with his enemies' servants for water and well.
3. When his wife died he did not even have a place to bury her body.
4. His life was also in danger.
Dear Soldiers, when you are called to build the Kingdom, the very calling may not provide you an honourable position or anything attractive. But the Lord will test your faithfulness and loyalty in the work entrusted. According to your response, He will go on giving you more and more authority and anointing. The Holy Spirit will teach you how to exercise it also.
As you fear the Lord in all your ways, He will elevate you before men.
Exodus 23:27 (NKJV) "I will send My fear before you, I will cause confusion among all the people to whom you come, and will make all your enemies turn their backs to you.

As we read in 2 Ki 8:1-5, all the seven years (2014-2020) the woman (Church in India ) was in exile. “She lived in the land of Philistines seven years. ” After she returned she went forth to cry to the king for her and for her land. In 2021 she came back to her land. ….. And Gehazi said, My lord, O, king, this is the woman, and this is her son, whom Elisha restored to life.
2Ki 8:6 And when the king asked the woman, she told him. So the king appointed to her a certain eunuch saying, Restore all that was hers, and all the fruits of the field since the day when she left the land, even until now.
The Church in India is getting back everything she has lost. The Lord has appointed to her a certain eunuch saying, Restore all that was hers, and even all the fruits of the field for the past seven years. It is upto us, every believer, every soldier, to get back everything we have lost, claiming, decreeing, and making appeals to heaven.

Just like the Public Service Commission conducts interviews and recruits people for various jobs , The Lord, Creator of Heaven and Earth will recruit people for His service. He declares the criteria for recruitment. He will look on
1. The Poor
2. Of contrite spirit
3. Who trembles at my Word.
Let us meditate on the third category. One who trembles at His Word. There are examples in Bible about people who trembled at His Word.
Eliphaz: Job 4:14 (NKJV) Fear came upon me, and trembling, Which made all my bones shake.
Even the bones of Eliphaz shook at His Word.
Moses:
Hebrews 12:21 (NKJV) And so terrifying was the sight that Moses said, "I am exceedingly afraid and trembling."
Moses trembled at the sight of Mount Sinai while the Lord was preparing it for His manifestation.
3. People who sinned by taking foreign wives trembled when they were convicted by Ezra.
Ezra 10:9 - "Then everyone who had brought his wife trembled and wept when they heard this. They said, 'We have been unfaithful to our God'."
Daniel: Daniel 10:7 - "I, Daniel, was the only one who saw the vision. The men with me did not see it, but a great terror seized them, and they ran off and hid."
Daniel trembled when he saw a certain man clothed in linen, whose waist was girded with gold of Uphaz appeared before him.!
The jailer: Acts 16:29 "The jailer trembled as he fell down before Paul and Silas. 'Sirs, what must I do to be saved?' he asked."
The jailor who saw the miracle of earthquake, the foundations of the prison shaken; all the doors of the prison opened and everyone's chains loosed trembled and tried to kill himself. But Paul saved him.
The people of Israel: Exodus 20:18 (NKJV) Now all the people witnessed the thunderings, the lightning flashes, the sound of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking; and when the people saw it, they trembled and stood afar off.
When the people of Israel saw the thunderings, lightning flashes the mountain smoking, they trembled.
This trembling before the Lord is because of fear, respectful fear. We who are made of clay are not worthy to stand before Him. When we accept our unworthiness, He looks on us and shows His favour on us.
